Donations or How You Can Help Us

There are many ways that you can help WRC in its mission to assist injured wildlife:
1. Become a Member. Memberships are available in WRC in many different categories starting as low as $25.00 per year. Membership entitles you to a copy of our quarterly newsletter as well as notification of all our upcoming events. Categories are as follows:

Individual Membership $25.00

Friend $50.00

Sponsor $100.00

Caretaker $200.00

Guardian $500.00

Benefactor $1,000.00

Patron $2,500.00

Partner $5,000.00

2. Make a Donation. Twice a year, WRC sends out an appeal to residents of the east end requesting help in providing medical care to injured wild animals. The Spring appeal is mailed out in the middle of June and the Holiday appeal is mailed out just after Thanksgiving. Additionally, donation cans are placed at various businesses around the town. Please be generous when you receive our mailings. Our strongest support comes from these mailings.

3. Remember us in your will. Please ask your attorney or estate planner to include WRC in your final plans.
Other than cash.... securities, real estate or personal property such as automobiles, yachts or collectible items can be sold to raise funds for WRC. No gift is too trivial.

4. Buy a Brick. Engraved bricks that are placed in the walk in front of the hospital building can be obtained in three sizes:
                                       a.) 4x8..three lines of thirteen characters......$100
                                       b.) 8x8..four lines of thirteen characters........$200
                                       c.) 12x12..six lines of sixteen characters.......$300
                                             (characters include spaces and punctuation)

5. Sponsor a Cage or Animal. Sponsorships for caging at WRC is available depending on the size of the cage. We are also currently working on sponsorships for individual animals and should be announcing the availability soon. Cages remaining to be sponsored are:
                                     a.) Mammal cage 4x8x8..............................$500
                                     b.) Aviaries 8x8x8......................................$1000
                                     c. ) waterfowl (1 remaining).12x20.............$5000

6. Take a Cruise. This is a brand new offering from WRC. Licensed and insured Captain Dan DiMola has offered his brand new 30 foot catamaran for morning or after noon cruises for a party of six. This is a great, stable and roomy boat. We can also provide a naturalist to point out the natural wonders of the east end if you so desire. This is a great way to have fun and also help distressed wild animals. Try it. We can guarantee you'll love it.
